Our beginnings in 1988 focused on the production of stitchbonded, under the premise of quality and service, two values that have allowed us to expand our product portfolio with the distribution of spunbonded, spunlace, needlepunch, reicrop, SMS and meatpad. Nonwovens, also known as nonwoven fabrics, tejido no tejido, TNT, fiselina, não tecido, tessuto nontessuto, nontissé or vliessoffe, etc., have a flat, flexible and porous structure and can be used for applications in the agricultural, automobile, construction, food, furniture and hygiene sectors as well as for other industrial uses.
Nonwovens available from or marketed by NV Evolutia include Spunbonded PP, Spunbonded PET, Stitchbonded or Napa, Reicrop or Manta Térmica, Spunlace, Needlepunch, SMS, Meatpad and Airlaid.
Nonwoven fabrics have a flat, flexible and porous structure and are made with a web or blanket of fibres or filaments, directionally orientated or consolidated by mechanical friction and/or chemical (bonded) and/or thermal (cohesion) processes.
A number of technologies can be used for making a nonwoven fabric. For practical purposes, nonwoven fabrics can be classified by the manufacturing process, raw materials, fibre or filament properties, consolidation process, weight, transformation or conversion process or the combination of all these elements.
